The Jupiter ERP app for iPhone and Android is the mobile companion to the panel in your browser. On the go you scan receipts, track time, work through appointments and orders on site, write service reports, and handle tasks, contacts, and documents. Bookkeeping, reports, settings, and your subscription stay in the panel.
Before you start
- You need an existing Jupiter ERP account. Create new accounts in the browser (see Register and set up an account), not in the app.
- An iPhone or an Android smartphone.
- The app only shows areas that your plan includes and that your role may read. The same permissions apply as in the panel.
The app is free and has no in-app purchases.
Install the app
- Download Jupiter ERP:
- iPhone: Jupiter ERP on the App Store
- Android: Jupiter ERP on Google Play
- Open the app. The sign-in screen shows Sign in and Sign in with QR code.
Sign in with a QR code (recommended)
This way you never type your password on the phone.
- Sign in to the panel on your computer.
- Open the user menu at the bottom of the sidebar (your name) and choose Settings. The User settings page opens.
- Switch to the App tab.
- In the app, tap Sign in with QR code and allow camera access.
- In the panel, click Create QR code and point the phone camera at it.
- The app shows Signed in. and the panel shows The Jupiter ERP app is signed in.
Note: The code is valid for about two minutes and works once. It renews while the App tab stays open. Create it only when the app already shows the scanner.
Sign in with email and password
- Tap Sign in.
- The app opens the Jupiter ERP sign-in page. Enter your email address and password.
- After sign-in the session stays on the device.
If you have access to several accounts, use Menu → Switch account. If your device supports Face ID, Touch ID, or a device PIN, the app locks after it has been in the background for more than a few seconds. Tap Unlock to continue.
How the app is organized
The bar at the bottom holds Home, Time, Receipts, and Menu.
- Home shows Today: your appointments, open orders, due tasks, due receipts and documents, and pending uploads.
- New opens quick capture: Scan receipt, Receipt from gallery, New receipt, Start timer, Task, Document, and Contact.
- Menu holds the other modules (Appointments, Orders, Tasks, Contacts, Documents), Switch account, Appearance, Settings, legal links, and Sign out.
Every list offers Open in panel when you want to continue on the computer.
How to scan receipts, track time, work through appointments, and write reports with the app is explained in Working with the companion app.
Common problems
The app shows "No account."
Your user is not assigned to an account yet, or the invitation has not been accepted. Sign in in the browser and check User settings → Accounts.
The QR code is not accepted.
The code has expired or was already used. Create a new one in the App tab. If you see "This QR code is not a sign-in code for this app.", scan the code from the panel, not another QR code.
Camera or photos do not open.
The app asks for camera or photos only when you scan, pick a picture, or add a photo to a report. If you declined, tap Open Settings and allow access in the system settings.
A menu item is missing or shows "Not available."
Your plan does not include the module, or your role cannot read it. An admin adjusts permissions in the panel under System → Users.
The app says "Please update".
This version is no longer supported. Tap Open store and install the update.
Lists show old data.
Pull the list down to reload it. If that does not help, use Menu → Settings → Clear cache. Your sign-in and pending uploads stay.
